I Love Juice Bar Franchise Sees Increased Sales from Kids and Families

Seasonal promotion gives I Love Juice Bar franchisees a fantastic way to capitalize on the busy back-to-school season

With summer ending, the new school year is on many people’s minds. Parents are working to prepare their children for success, and many families want to establish better eating habits this year. As parents are looking for healthy snack options, I Love Juice Bar has answered this need with a back-to-school promotion that franchisees can use to bring in more sales during this late summer season.

“Kids and families have always been fans of I Love Juice Bar, but this year, we wanted to encourage kids to spend time in our stores coloring and playing with a healthy snack,” says Dee Ryan, Vice President of Operations for I Love Juice Bar franchise. “The back-to-school promotion has been a success, as our franchisees have seen an uptick in traffic and increased sales. Most importantly, we’ve been able to introduce our delicious products to the next generation.”

The promotion took place every weekday in August, and customers were able to get a discounted kid-sized smoothie, in one of our kid-friendly flavors — Mint to Be, Green Smoothie or Very Strawberry — for $4. With the back-to-school incentive in effect only from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, the I Love Juice Bar team created this marketing tool for franchisees to implement to bring in kids and parents during the prime “snacking hours” just after school lets out.

Coloring sheets for in-store fun for kids, an online sale on the Juice Bar Kid’s Tee, and ample national promotion of the back-to-school special featured on the I Love Juice Bar website gave franchisees the ability to get a running start to make the most out of the new school year in their area.
