I Love Juice Bar Franchise in the News
When a new I Love Juice Bar opens, it makes headlines
America is in the midst of a healthy eating revolution. More than ever, people are taking their health seriously, and they’re searching for food options to support their health and fitness goals. “People in cities across the nation are, literally, hungry for an I Love Juice Bar franchise in their communities,” says John Hunt, CEO of I Love Juice Bar. “The enthusiastic media coverage when an I Love Juice Bar opens illustrates just how excited customers are when they see us come to town.”
Booming juicing industry and focus on health and nutrition create pent-up demand for I Love Juice Bar franchise
According to a 2015 Global Health & Wellness Survey that polled over 30,000 individuals online, consumers today want products that provide good health and nutrition. Eighty-eight percent of those polled said they are willing to pay more for healthier foods. In fact, global sales of healthy food products are projected to reach $1 trillion this year, according to Euromonitor.
This makes for the perfect storm when it comes to opening an I Love Juice Bar franchise, especially when you look at the financials. Nationwide, juicing has become a $5 billion industry. No longer just for dieters looking to cleanse for a few days, juicing has become a healthy diet option for a wide range of consumers, including people in their 20s and 30s who are expected to keep this booming restaurant sector growing by 4% to 8% a year. Venture capitalists have targeted the industry as the next big thing, which means that more and more people will be looking for opportunities to cash in.
I Love Juice Bar openings are noteworthy
And if that data isn’t enough to convince you of the huge popularity and growth potential of I Love Juice Bar, look no further than the media buzz that happens every time a new I Love Juice Bar franchise opens. When our franchise comes to town, customers and journalists take notice.
In the St. Louis suburb of Rock Hill, for instance, I Love Juice Bar is meeting a pent-up demand for healthy eating on the go. According to an interview in Feast Magazine, franchisees John “JB” Brunner and Carolyn Dowd are thrilled to be the first franchise of their kind in the St. Louis area:
“For Brunner and Dowd, the inspiration to open a juice bar traces back to their desire to eat healthy and nutritiously. Both have watched firsthand how eating natural foods and exercising can significantly improve one’s health.
“‘We’re really excited, and we think St. Louis could definitely use a juice bar like us,” Brunner says. “We plan to put as many down as we can. We really believe in the brand and the need that’s not being filled right now.'”
Feast Magazine wasn’t the only media source to take notice of the St. Louis I Love Juice Bar opening. Food blog “Whiskey and Soba” also took notice, commending the franchise for providing a healthy option that blows the competition out of the water with its freshness and convenience:
“Everything is fresh, and that makes a huge difference. Prices are reasonable too, considering the size of the drinks, the fresh produce, and the fact you’re not the one who has to clean a…juicer.
“To summarize: I Love Juice Bar is, as far as I can tell, the best juice bar in St. Louis. I hope it replaces every Smoothie King, Jamba Juice, and Five Guys.”
And the enthusiasm for I Love Juice Bar is far from limited to St. Louis. A recent I Love Juice Bar opening in the Hillsboro Village neighborhood of Nashville, Tennessee, merited a mention in the Nashville Scene, which praised the wide array of healthy menu options:
“The old Sunset Grill building in Hillsboro Village is buzzing once again with another new opening….In addition to juices, smoothies, and shots, the Juice Bar in Hillsboro Village will offer a small menu of grab-and-go, mostly gluten-free and vegan food options. Among the menu items are an almond butter sandwich, sprout sandwich, kale and quinoa salad, pad thai noodles made from sweet potatoes, and (my favorite) rice paper-wrapped fresh spring rolls.”
Nashville business publications have also taken notice of I Love Juice Bar for being such a timely, smart business idea. A recent write-up in EntreNash spotlighted the franchise’s rapid expansion and standout popularity:
“Nashville is home to so many fresh new business ideas, but none fresher than Juice Bar! This local franchise, founded by John & Vui Hunt, has grown from its simple roots here in Nashville and is now a regional sensation.
“Juice Bar is wildly popular, not just because it fits with the current trend toward farm to table and authenticity in food, but they know their audience. They’ve infused their personalities into their juices just like they do with their flavors. The cult-like following they’re creating is about more than just juice, but rather, a way of life…one that’s full of life, love, and health.”
St. Louis and Nashville are just two examples of I Love Juice Bar’s buzzworthy, health-conscious brand at work. In 2017, we’re looking for passionate, savvy franchisees to help keep the excitement high as we spread our brand across the nation. We’re thrilled to see what bright things the future holds.
