Before Ali joined I Love Juice Bar, a few of our corporate staff handled marketing duties. This year, however, we rolled out a new marketing plan and looked for the perfect person to oversee it. A self-professed Juice Bar devotee and a creative professional having worked in advertising, marketing and the music business, Ali fit right in with our “Have Fun. Be Amazing.” motto.
She’s excited to give franchisees exactly what they need to get our products into the hands of new customers. “Before this marketing program was put into place and before I was here, marketing support for franchise owners was a little less consistent day to day,” Ali explains. “So my goal is to help them every single day. We’re there at the beginning when franchise owners open their stores, and we help them target the customers in their specific areas. We offer constant access to unlimited new and fresh content, as the holidays approach or seasons change and as we roll out new products.”

Navigating today’s digital landscape can be intimidating for business owners, but I Love Juice Bar franchisees have an advantage when it comes to social media posting. Our products are naturally beautiful in online posts, and the more that we can help franchisees reach customers through these posts, the better. We train franchisees on social media best practices, provide posts for franchisees’ use, as well as engage customers through our new website and email newsletter.
Ali says: “Social media posts help define our brand and help our franchisees stand out as unique among our competition. I believe it’s almost 80% of people that use social media before they actually make a purchase. So through Pinterest, Instagram and Facebook, our customers can stay current on our products, share their personal experiences at our locations and can see experiences of others and interact with us in real time. Because of these social media platforms, we have an opportunity to engage fully with our customers. Along with that goes social media support and training for owners, and keeping them knowledgeable of the constantly changing digital world.”
Ali believes that consumers’ love affair with juices and smoothies is far more than a passing fad; today, it’s almost an obsession! Marketing I Love Juice Bar helps encourage more people to embrace the health and wellness that come with this lifestyle.
“Getting healthy juices and smoothies that taste good in the consumers’ mouths is the very first step of increasing this trend — and we help accomplish that through our marketing efforts,” Ali notes. “Once they experience what it’s like, see some small changes in their bodies, and see the positive impact it’s having, you know they’ll be customers for life.”
